Hi everyone, LOVING the cool look website!
I’ll try and keep this short but CPAS has had a huge impact on my faith; I was in the first wave of CPAS’ers back in 2001 and found a great friend and spiritual mentor in Dawn, whose vision CPAS was. She took me under her wing for the year and encouraged / scared me when she appointed me the next president (this was in the days when there was about 12 in CPAS!) because I was a disorganised first year drama student and still a bit shaky in my dedication to God!
At the end of my 1st year of doing this CPAS was ok but hadn’t really moved on and no-one else wanted to take over. I’d been also doing lots of other projects with other societies and the drama dept but was so unfufilled and thought ‘I wish I’d given more to CPAS’ but over that summer I felt God say to do one more year and focus on only him and CPAS… He gave me so many ideas and strength to forgo other distractions, opportunities to build my relationship with him and a heart to serve those who didn’t always have the most confidence performing but were very loved by God! We ended the year with the drama, dance and choir workshops formed, a wonderful comittee to take over and the certificate for Best Society which helped us get a higher profile for us and what God was doing on the campus . Praise God!

I miss being involved with CPAS soooo much but it will always be special to me and I’m so humbled when I see how much all you lot put into it – stay joyful in all the rehearsals, meetings, poster flyering etc cos it’s hard sometimes but it’s him you’re serving and he will sustain you!
